2020 STADIUMTECH ROADSHOW ROLLS INTO ACTION
The StadiumTech Roadshow got underway this week, with leading sports venue technology providers joining forces to tour some of the biggest football, rugby, and cricket clubs in the UK.
The roadshow showcases the latest technology set to transform the way clubs and venues communicate with fans and drive value for sponsors.
Led by ADI, the roadshow brings together expertise from suppliers across the fan engagement technology sector, drawing insight from IPTV specialists, Tripleplay, innovative AR experience experts, Indestry, live gaming developer, Piing, and Fan Zone infrastructure providers, Rapid Retail.

Touring 20 leading stadia in the Premier League, Championship, Rugby Union and other sport, the StadiumTech Roadshow provides opportunity for stakeholders across each club to get hands on with the latest innovations and hear first-hand insight from leading industry voices.
ADI’s, Claire Fitzgerald-Firth, explains the thinking behind the roadshow “The stadium experience is changing. It is no longer enough to just consider leg room, pie selection, or the cost of a half time pint.
Clubs and sports venues are facing huge competition from other forms of entertainment in the booming experience economy. Technology plays a big part in helping clubs to compete – not just for the benefit of fans, but for commercial partners too.
The challenge however, is that there are so many competing and complementing technologies, it can be difficult for clubs and venues to make sense of it. That’s exactly why we’re embarking on the StadiumTech Roadshow – to help clubs understand how they can integrate multiple technologies from different suppliers, to create a cohesive matchday platform that drives a tangible return on investment.”

The StadiumTech Roadshow gets underway this week, visiting sports clubs in the North East, Midlands and North West of England, before moving on to stadia in the south of the UK.
Whilst the majority of tour dates have already been finalised, there are some available spaces in March for clubs and sports venues interested in learning about the future of stadium technology.
